The 1990-1991 NBA season was a first for the greatest player that ever touched a basketball. It was the first NBA Championship for Michael Jordan. In that same season he was also voted NBA Finals MVP as well as the regular season NBA MVP. With so many accolades achieved that year, the NBA Championship is what he wanted and what he celebrated the most. Jordan Brand is dropping the Championship Pack in the Jordan VI, the shoe he was wearing when he won the 1991 NBA Finals. Both models are representations of items used to celebrate a NBA Championship, Champagne and Cigars.
The Jordan VI "Cigar" has a soft brown leather upper, that will wear with age and use. The sneaker has Maroon, Red and Gold accents that make this shoe go off. The shoe also comes with a Maroon lace lock, and the laces have plastic Gold tips.
The Jordan VI "Champagne" has a glossy Champagne Bottle Green Upper. The sneaker has Black, Gold and Clear accents. The Champagne model has a Black with Gold Speckled midsole. The shoe also comes with a Black lace lock, and the laces have metal Gold tips.
Both models have icy blue outsoles, cork insoles, a championship crest lasered on the heel and Championship Ring lace locks. Each shoe comes in a premium Black/Gold Jordan box and are sold separately. This pack is very limited and will sell out on the day of release.
The Jordan 6 Championship Pack "Cigar" and "Champagne" will be available at AWOL in-store on 6/14/14.
