The Celtics have had quite an offseason with the departure of head coach, Doc Rivers, to the LA Clippers and the remaining two of the original "Big 3," we involved in what most say a BLOCKBUSTER trade to the Brooklyn Nets. Everyone here in Boston still has high hopes for their star point guard, Rajon Rondo, to do amazing things for the team this year. And with the addition of a highly rated big man, Kelly Olynyc from Gonzaga, the hopes do look a little better.
The NBA 2013-2014 schedule was released today and the Boston Celtics do have a long road ahead of them. On December 10, 2013, the Boston Celtics will be playing in the new home of Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, Barclay Center in Brooklyn, NY. And to add more salt to the wound, Doc Rivers will return to the Boston TD Garden the next night to face his former team. Not really the homecoming Boston fans are looking forward to. Win or lose (hopefully win), all of us at AWOL will stand behind the Celtics.
Get geared up for the regular season Boston Celtics home opener at the TD Garden on November 1, 2014 against the Milwaukee Bucks! GO CELTICS!
